Diploma
Polytechnic is an institute which offers diploma based technical education in India. It is not a university program but should be approved by AICTE (i.e. All India Council for Technical Education). The duration of this course is Three year and it is a diploma level course basically in Engineering.
In this course the basic engineering applications are taught to the students and after completion of which a student is able to perform lower level engineering tasks and they got the job of supervisors or junior engineers in the companies.
